British Continental recalls Mica 3 Belgian Frangipans due to incorrect allergen labeling

British & Continental is recalling Mica 3 Belgian Frangipans because they contain wheat (gluten), milk, egg and soya which have not been emphasised on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or egg and/or an allergy to soya. The product is only distributed in Morrisons and Nisa.

This product contains wheat (gluten), milk, eggs and soya making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or egg and/or an allergy to soya. No other British & Continental products are known to be affected. British & Continental is recalling the above product from customers and have been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product.
