Picard recalls various frozen products because allergens are not listed in English on the label

Picard is recalling multiple frozen products because they contain various allergens which are not listed in English on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to one or more of the following allergens: almonds (nuts), celery, fish, mustard, pistachios (nuts) and soya. The products are also a possible health risk to those with an allergy or intolerance to one or more of the following allergens: cereals containing gluten, egg, milk and milk constituents or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites. These products have been sold by Ocado and Marks & Spencer UK.

These products contain almonds (nuts) celery, cereals containing gluten, egg, fish, mustard, milk, pistachios (nuts), soya, and sulphites, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy/intolerance/sensitivity to any of the allergens listed above. Picard is recalling these products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
