Ottawa, July 16, 2019 - The food recall warning issued on July 10, 2019 has been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is recalling Shirakiku brand Frozen Fish Cakes from the marketplace because they may contain egg, milk, shrimp and octopus which are not declared on the label. People with an allergy to egg, milk, shrimp or octopus should not consume the recalled products described below.
